Must do Morning routine to wake your body naturally

It's very important to start the day with all the goodness you can give to your body. To start your day with full energy and stay alert, one should do at least following 3 things in the morning.

  1. Drink Water:
    Remember Warm Water is better than cold water, you can add lemon or lime if you don't like water on it's on in the morning. Why it's important? Your body have not had water for past 8 hours. To stay hydrated, you need to drink, it will also help your digestive system to work better. Overall you will feel better first thing in the morning.
  2. Do Gentle Exercises:
    You had a full night sleep and you have not moved your muscles, once water starts flowing though your body, your muscles will start relaxing, help them with gentle exercise. Remember this is not your gym routine, use simple movements and stretching will increase your blood circulation. You can stretch your arms and back by kneeling on the floor or use a Mat, bring your both arms in the air pointing to the sky so that your back is straight.


    Now keep your arms and back straight and bring your arms to the floor in front of you keeping your back straight. You will feel you have given your shoulders, arms and back a little stretch.


    Now stand up and try gently doing 5 Squats, that will increase blood circulation in your legs and hips! We all want nice round hips, well without good blood circulation you cannot have them :)
  3. Eat Oats for Breakfast (Not if you are doing Intermittent fasting):
    Oats are high in Protein and Fibre, they can make you feel fuller for longer, that means you will eat less and not gain weight. To get additional vitamins and add more taste, you can add Berries (Blueberry, Raspberry - They are also anti-oxidants), Kiwi and may be banana.
    If you are doing intermittent fasting, I would still advise to have breakfast in the morning and skip lunch. As your body is getting ready for the day, it will need energy to start fresh. Once you have that energy, you can fast for rest of the day and let your body consume extra fats to get more energy during the day!

Learn to Say NO to things that are not for you

This post is another one from a series of Habits of a successful person.

If you want to be good at something and be successful, you need to fully understand, you cannot do everything comes your way. It's your life and some times you will have to make decision whether something coming your way is:
  1. Really Good for me? Think long term, will this eventually become Great once i am done?
  2. Will I have time, realistically and honestly to do it and get full benefit of outcome?
  3. Is this the right time in my life or career to do this?
Many of us compelled to agree to every request comes our way. A habit like that can leave less time for yourself and the things you are doing right now (Remember, things you are doing right now are as important to finish as starting something new and exciting).
As per Point 1 above, think what is being offered to you, is that good for you or you will do it just because someone close to you is asking and you will do it anyway.
Point 2, Will you have time? As a successful person, you shouldn't do things if you cannot do them to your best abilities. If you do something which you could have done better, well that means you have too much on your plate right now and you should have not done it. Learn from it and avoid taking on something you cannot do in future.
Point 3, sometimes you are not ready to take on a job or work. Remember, try to differentiate between "Not having time to do something" and "I will have to learn something new to do this". If you will have to learn something new and you have time, than WALLAH, you will have an oppertunity to do something new and improve yourself. But if you will not have time to do it, than you are wasting time and not learning anything new.

Do things now rather than later

This post is another post from series of posts from Habits of a successful person.

So let's come to the point straight away!

We all love to make TODO lists for the things we want to do. How often it happens that we work on all those tasks or how often we leave them till last min when they really need doing. To be successful, one should never leave things behind, if you leave them behind to do them later, that might mean they are not important and you will end up creating a very very long list which will become harder and harder to do.
I suggest using Calender instead, if something is important to do at a certain time or date, you should have it in your Calendar and dedicate time to do it. That way you will know what you should be spending time doing what you really need to do.
Essence is that a successful person will complete what needs doing now, so his head is clear to work on what's coming next!

Listen to others, be a good listener

I would say it is one of the most important quality of a successful person. It is sometimes not natural to people but i believe you can learn and practise to be a good listener.

It also is an important quality of a Leader to listen what people has to say around him, as a leader your team has deep knowledge of things they are working on, Leader should be a good listener to make informed decisions.

An example will be, Imagine you are in a meeting where people are bringing their ideas to table. You listen to all of them first, make mental or physical notes. Once you have heard what everyone had to say, you can improve on them or by that time you will know your idea is better than all of them. You don't want to say something which you later regret.

A good listener can apply this practise not just in his professional life, he/she can use same attitude towards hi personal life! Like a said earlier this is something which can be learned. Please let me know, if you would like to find our courses which help you increase your listening skills.

Do things no one else wants to do

Do things no one else wants to do:
If you spend some time in your day doing things other people think "that's easy and i will do it later" than you are already ahead of those people because they are leaving easy things to do and looking for something which is difficult e.g. Sending a thank you message to a customer, clearing your desk from papers which are not important right now. Completing tasks like that will not only clear your head but will also gives you time to think about more important things and not keep distracted by list of simple TODOs which you never do!

Benefits of waking up early!

In this series of Posts i will talk about Habits of Successful People in details but not too long so you don't sleep reading these!


Waking up early!


Waking up early gives your brain time to wake up with you and start the day relaxed. If you start your day in a rush, your mind does not have time to prepare hence it cannot help you organise your day.

It's very important to not stress yourself first thing in the morning, some people like exercising to relax, some people like to have good breakfast.

In any case, you need to find what's best for you and rushing in the morning or waking up late is not good at all.

For me, I slowly wake up, drink cold water then i make my way to office, have Big breakfast which mostly contains Porridge with Peanut Butter and Raspberry Jam (you guys might think this combination of peanut butter and jam will be really bad taste, it's not that bad). I do not drink Coffee in the morning, i feel my body is already waking up, why do i need to give my body a false boost with caffeine. Yes, i love coffee and normally have a cup in afternoon when i feel sleepy, not when i am getting up from a night sleep! Sometimes i stretch my arms and back to relax my muscles! That's just me!
